April 1st saw an Easter Craft Fair at the Hall with a range of stallholders being joined by the Craft Bus outside in the car park. Children had the offer of an Easter egg hunt. Later in the month the Top Box Company arrived at the Hall to perform Little Shop of Horrors; this was extremely well presented and drew large audiences across 2 nights.
Toward the end of the month the Hall hosted something rather different. 65 musicians arrived early morning for all points of the compass, but including some local musicians and a local conductor. After rehearsing Dvorak’s The New World all day, and audience arrived at 5pm to witness their now-polished performance. Many of those that participated acknowledged the exhilaration provided by this special event – and the audience were certainly impressed.
